Our goal is to create a memorable dental experience for each child every time they enter our practice. Dr. Miller and Dr. Aaron practice compassionate restorative dental care, using positive reinforcement, and magic in a child friendly environment.
All restorative care (fillings) are placed ONLY by Dr. Aaron or Dr. Miller. We are also fortunate to have three wonderful certified dental hygienists as members of our team.
"We care for children---we treat teeth," developing young children into dentally healthy and happy adults with minimally invasive dental care is our goal.
Parents are welcome to be in the treatment area for all care. They may hold their child's hand during care or have their small child sit in their lab to allow for a more pleasant dental experience. We ask that parents are *silent helpers* as we care for your child and that you support our terminology. If children hear your voice and not ours, it makes for a more stressful visit for your child.
We do not use restraints and our visits are short to allow for a happier visit. We have the ability to use nitrous oxide light sedation, which we call "Fuzzy Air." There is no additional charge for this and it allows for a more comfortable experience for your child.
We provide dental care in the operating room under general anesthesia at Lancaster General Hospital and LGH Health Campus for children who cannot cooperate for dental care in the office due to lack of psychological or emotional maturity, special medical needs, patients requiring significant restorative dental care, and children who are extremely anxious, fearful or uncooperative. We also have an anesthesiologist who comes to our office on a monthly basis for in office sedation as an alternative to operating room dental care. These are great options for care for the children who require more than verbal distraction and nitrous oxide and oxygen light sedation.
Our fee structure for both hospital and office care is compassionate, flexible, and reasonable to lessen the financial burden to the family.
